It can be confusing to know where to start when moving towards a plant-based diet. Healthy-eating gets a bad rep for being expensive when you look at costly juice cleanses, supplements and exotic superfoods. Preparing simple meals generally costs a lot less than buying prepared and processed food. Stocking up on versatile ingredients like beans and pulses can form the basis of many recipes and provide a fantastic source of protein whilst costing much less than meat.
