Don’t have enough hours in the day to exercise and eat healthily? I hear you! Let me help you create simple healthy habits that will change your life
Hi, I’m Laura, I’m a Pilates teacher, healthy lifestyle blogger and a mama too.
I know how hard it is to find time to exercise and stick to a healthy lifestyle. All the advice out there talks about sticking to a routine, scheduling workouts into your week. But what if you’ve been up half the night with your child, or you have deadlines to meet, or work’s so busy there isn’t time to fit in an hour at the gym?
Sticking to a routine is ideal but for many of us life doesn’t run like clockwork
I used to take an all-or-nothing approach to exercise. If it wasn’t a HIIT class that left me feeling queasy, or a 90- minute shake inducing yoga practice – what was the point?
But when I became a mother everything changed. I couldn’t get out to classes anymore or even find time to practice at home.
I was exhausted and there was just no time for me.
Something had to change
So I began to simplify my life. I cut back to the things that really mattered and started to live more intentionally. I took the same pared down, minimalist approach to exercise. I found that I could fit 10-20 mins of Pilates into my day. Every night when I had got baby to sleep, I’d roll out my mat and do a short practice. I did it for how it felt, not to strive for results. But over time I was amazed at how much strength I recovered from a regular practice.
I realised it was the consistency that mattered most
On social media we are bombarded with messages of perfection, the perfect morning routine, meditation, journaling, exercise, but for many of us that’s an unattainable luxury.
But I want to help you carve out time for simple daily practices and rituals that make a real difference to your health and wellness.
You deserve to Feel Good
I don’t want to add another thing to your To-Do list, or give you a programme that quickly becomes overwhelming
So I’ve created the Feel Good challenge
It’s 5 days to reset and connect with yourself.
It includes: 5 simple Pilates routines you can do anywhere and at any time. If like me you struggle to find the time to exercise for an hour, or get to a class, or you find your weekly class is not getting you the results you hoped for, then this is great way to introduce a short daily practice. Which, you will hopefully continue beyond the 5 days.
There’s also a printable tracker so you can hold yourself accountable. It’s great to see how these small daily habits stack up and make a difference.
You don’t need a total body transformation, or a month at a luxury beach resort to feel good everyday. It starts with small, daily, achievable habits as the foundation.
